Ryan Laird
He's come a long way since the billboard!
Ryan Laird gained international exposure with his gutsy 2008 billboard asking Taylor Swift to produce his record. The stunt put him on a tour of North American media, appearing on Entertainment Tonight and in Country Weekly magazine. Even Swift mentioned Laird's talent in an E! News interview.
Now, Ryan has a Canadian Radio Music Award nominated Top 10 single under his belt ("I'm Your Man"), and finished a big summer tour with Alan Jackson and Emerson Drive.
This collection contains songs written by Laird and some of Nashville's biggest hit makers, including Monty Powell (Keith Urban), Eric Silver (Dixie Chicks), Gilles Godard (Terri Clark), and Chris Wallin (Kenny Chesney). "Want You Still" and "If There Ever Was" show a softer side of Ryan, while "I'm Your Man," "She Was The One," and "Girl Crazy" just plain rock. "Two Weeks In" makes Laird's live audiences laugh out loud every time, and Leah Daniels is Ryan's duet partner on "Where Do I Go."
