Far Away Places
"Far Away Places" is the newest release from Australia's 2010 CMAA Country Group of The Year, Jetty Road.
The songs on "Far Away Places" capture stories from the band's ongoing adventures to Canada to classic country themes including, dreaming big, heart ache and letting loose. "Serves You Right" is a sassy track about a two-timer who gets a dose of bad karma for his cheating ways. "Wrong" is a traditionally spirited love song sung in tandem with Canadian country crooner, George Canyon. "I'm a Dreamer" is about knowing what you want and dreaming big to get it, "Welcome to The Party" is co-written with country rocker Jason McCoy - sure to become an anthem for country music lovers who love to party and "Let It Out," the first official single from Far Away Places released the summer of 2010 - played on over 60 radio station across Canada.
The second single, "Serves You Right" released this spring, picks up where "Let It Out" left off - featured or added on dozens of radio stations across North America. The video has been added to CMT in Canada and featured on CMT USA's website. In Australia, the video has entered the top 10 on the Country Music Channel (CMC) and country radio charts.
